We are happy to announce there will be a special issue published in Multisensory Research following the IMRF 2013 conference in Jerusalem. Submissions will be accepted from all who are interested, but preference will be given for speakers participating and presenting their work at the IMRF 2013. More details about the special issue will be available soon. |

SUNDAY, JUNE 2, 2013: GET-TOGETHER RECEPTION A welcome reception to renew acquaintances and meet new colleagues will take place at the Dan Hotel, Jerusalem. All registered participants are welcome to attend. Additional tickets for accompanying guests may be purchased when registering online for the conference. MONDAY, JUNE 3, 2013: SOUND AND LIGHT SHOW AT THE TOWER OF DAVID (optional) Participants may choose to attend the spectacular evening Sound and Light Show at the Tower of David. The show is a celebration of sight and sound, depicted on the ancient walls of the Citadel, in which the story of Jerusalem unfolds through breathtaking virtual reality images. Prior the show, participants will be taken by bus to the Mamilla Promenade close to the Old City where they are free to have dinner at one of the many local restaurants in the area. The show begins at 21:30. Seats may be reserved when registering online for the conference. WEDNESDAY, JUNE 5, 2013 TOUR OF THE WESTERN WALL TUNNELS Participants are invited to enjoy a fascinating guided night tour of the Western Wall Tunnels, one of the most impressive archeological sites in Israel. The hidden layers of walls beneath the old city reveal the story of ancient Jerusalem. Excavations show various structures dating to the Ayyubid, Mamluke and Hasmonean periods, constructed to support buildings in the vicinity of the Temple Mount. All registered participants are welcome to attend. Those who wish to participate should collect their complimentary ticket from the meeting hospitality desk. |
